We are an online specialty shop that introduces and sells Japanese anime trading cards to the world.
2. Why did A. Kudo, the founder of "Libird TaiAki Shop", consider the EC business?
Entered eBay in December 2021. Many customers then asked, "Are there any individual sites?" Decided to start selling on the Shopify platform in 2023!
3. What are the benefits of switching from eBay to Shopify to run an e-commerce business?
We want as many customers as possible to buy high-quality Japanese trading cards at affordable prices. In the future, we plan to expand the product lineup.
4. Why did you choose the name Libird and design this logo?
We wanted to create a name that had a beautiful feel like Japan and yet had an impact.
5. Why did you decide to start a Japanese trading cards specialty store online?
Seeing that Japan's borders have all stopped due to the corona disaster, the EC industry and logistics were still moving. We keenly felt that a high-spec EC site is necessary even when expanding business across borders in the future. Most of all, we would be happy if our many overseas customers could feel Japan even a little through the cross-border EC site, so we decided to focus on EC sales this time.
6. What has "Libird TaiAki Shop" achieved since its founding in 2023? What are goals of “Libird TaiAki Shop” after that?

- Maintain the total number of monthly store sessions between 3K and 5K in the first half of 2024.

7. Why does "Libird TaiAki Shop" need to continuously generate sales profits? For whom?
One of our missions is to let customers overseas know about high-quality, high-performance Japanese trading cards and satisfy them.
One of the guidelines is to measure the "profit ratio", and we think it is an important result to introduce as many Japanese cameras as possible to people overseas.
